Coworking spaces are turning into open-air call centers and I'm losing it
Was at Selina in Medellin last Tuesday and 4 different people were on Zoom calls at full volume in the quiet zone. The whole point of paying $150 a month for a desk is to NOT hear your sales pitch about crypto. Has anyone found a spot in Latin America that actually enforces the no-call rules?

Why do people even bother going there if it's never enforced? I live near one and it's basically a free-for-all. Kids screaming, people blasting music, vendors yelling. There's no way it counts as a quiet zone anymore. The signs are just decoration at this point. I stopped going because my anxiety just gets worse.

$150 a month for a desk and you still have to listen to crypto pitches? That's wild to me. I paid $180 at a place in Bogota last year and the guy next to me took a full hour long sales call right at his desk, no headphones, just speakerphone. The staff just shrugged when I complained. Your mileage may vary but I've pretty much given up on coworking spots in Latin America for actual quiet work.
