Finally figured out coworking spaces after hating them for a year

I tried that super cheap spot in Medellin last month for $8 a day and got more done in 3 days than I did all week at my apartment. Turns out I just needed a place with actual quiet zones and not just open chatter everywhere. Anyone else find a specific setup that changed how you work on the road?

Did you try their designated quiet floor or just the regular co-working area? I found a place in Buenos Aires that had a strict no talking rule in one section and it was a game changer for me. It was only $10 a day which felt like a steal compared to the fancy spots. Made me realize that for a lot of these spaces the secret is just enforcing the quiet zones properly, not even the desk or chair quality. How enforced was the quiet area in your Medellin spot?

Actually wait not to be that person but that places in Buenos Aires are usually $12-$15 now from what I saw when I was there last month lol. The $10 spots I found were mostly in Palermo and they got super loud after 11am even in the "quiet" sections. The Medellin spot I tried had a decent quiet floor but the staff didn't really enforce it past 2pm when people started taking calls in there anyway. Kinda defeats the whole purpose when you're paying for silence and getting office chatter instead.
