Just realized how much a good co-working space changes the game in Medellin
I was working from a cafe in El Poblado last week, and the wifi kept dropping every 20 minutes. I moved to a co-working spot called Selina for about $15 a day, and the difference was huge. I got a solid connection, met two other people working on apps, and actually finished my project. Has anyone else found a specific spot in a city that totally fixed your work flow?

It's funny how much a physical space can affect your brain. I've had the same thing happen in Lisbon and Bangkok, where moving from a noisy hostel common area to a proper desk made me three times more productive. It's not just the wifi, it's the unspoken rule that everyone is there to actually work.

Right, @evan_green52, the vibe of a work space totally changes things.

Honestly, that's so true about the unspoken work rule. I read this blog post about how just being around focused people can sort of train your own brain to focus. It mentioned exactly what @evan_green52 said, that a proper desk setup signals to your mind it's work time. Like, my brain in a cafe is in "maybe get a snack" mode, but in a co-working space, it clicks into gear. The right spot just removes all those little excuses to not get stuff done.
