So I had this talk with a random guy at a hostel in Chiang Mai
He was like 60 and had been traveling for like 15 years straight, no job no savings just bouncing between cheap countries. He told me I was overthinking the whole digital nomad thing because I was worried about stable internet and backup laptops. Said he just finds a coffee shop and if it doesn't work he moves on. Really made me wonder if I'm just carrying too much stuff both physically and mentally. Has anyone else run into someone who made you question your whole setup?

Read a blog post a while back from a guy who did the hostel hopping thing for years. Said the same thing, that the less gear you carry the more you actually see.
