Spent 4 hours installing a VPN on my router in Bangkok
I thought it would take 20 minutes tops, but the router settings were all in Thai and none of the online guides matched the exact model. Has anyone else run into weird tech setup delays while hopping between countries?

Man, I feel that. Honestly, @davis.noah nailed it with that 'little puzzle' thing. When you finally get that router page to pop up in English after poking around for two hours, it feels better than when something just works out of the box. Tbh those small wins stick with you longer than the frustration does.

That 4 hours dealing with Thai-only router menus sounds brutal. I've been stuck for an hour just trying to find the admin password on a hotel router in Vietnam. Small tech problems like that ruin a whole afternoon but nobody talks about them.

Respectfully @patricia_gonzalez I gotta push back a little on that. I mean yeah getting stuck with a language barrier on router menus is super annoying but I kind of enjoy the detective work in a weird way. It's like a little puzzle that only matters for that one hour and you get to feel like a genius when you finally crack it. Maybe it's just me but those tiny victories are almost more satisfying than when everything just works right away.
