Switched from hostels to coworking coliving spaces and saved $400 in 2 months
I spent my first year as a digital nomad bouncing between hostels in Bangkok and Chiang Mai. The WiFi was spotty and I wasted hours finding quiet spots to take client calls. Last April I tried a coliving space in Chiang Mai for $450 a month including a desk and fast internet. Turns out I stopped buying coffee shop snacks and paying for random SIM cards. That extra $200 a month added up fast and my work got way more stable. Has anyone else made this switch and noticed a difference in their budget?

Quiet work spots alone make it worth it honestly.

The library on 5th has way better quiet zones than the one downtown.

diana512 is totally right about this. The quiet zones at the 5th street library are so much better for actually getting work done. Downtown has too much foot traffic and those doors near the main reading room are always opening and closing. I spent three hours there last weekend @diana512 and barely heard a whisper the whole time. The lighting is better too, not that harsh fluorescent stuff they have downtown. Makes a real difference when you need to focus on something important.
