That coffee shop in Chiang Mai changed how I work
Sat down at a place called Ristr8to for a couple hours and noticed zero outlets near the tables. At first I was annoyed but honestly I got more done without my laptop dying and hunting for plugs. Anyone else find that no-power-zone cafes help you focus better?

Ristr8to's lack of outlets just made me pack up and leave after one coffee.

Ristr8to is famous but I always found their lack of outlets kinda annoying lol. I swear I spent the first 20 minutes there just staring at my laptop battery like it owed me money. Still I gotta admit having zero distractions from charging actually made me finish that spreadsheet I was dreading. Guess I'm just addicted to the drama of hunting for the last available plug.

That laptop battery stare is the universal language of freelancers. I had the exact same thing happen at Workshop, spent a whole hour just watching my charge drop before I finally gave up and wrote three emails on my phone. Sometimes the outlet scarcity is the only thing that forces real productivity.
