The $79 coworking pass in Lisbon that I thought was a scam
I almost skipped booking a day pass at this spot near Cais do Sodre because the photos looked too polished, but the wifi speed test hit 300 Mbps and the quiet floor actually had enforced silence. I still think most 'community' perks are marketing fluff, but the free event they ran on Thursday got me two solid client leads. Has anyone else found a coworking space where the networking actually beat working from a cafe?

Oh man, that's a good find... but you might be overselling the wifi a bit. I've tested that same spot a few times and got around 150 Mbps at peak hours, still plenty fast but not 300. The quiet floor thing though, that's real. I was there last Tuesday and a guy got a death glare for crinkling a granola bar wrapper, it was almost uncomfortable. Networking events are hit or miss everywhere, so you lucked out with those leads honestly.
