TIL I was overpaying for coworking memberships for 6 months
I been hopping around Southeast Asia the last year and always just grabbed the first coworking spot near my Airbnb. Last week in Chiang Mai I actually walked to 4 different places before picking one and realized I was paying like $150 more per month at my Bangkok spot for the same wifi speed and coffee. Anyone else ever notice a huge price difference between coworking places in the same city?

Honestly I used to think haggling on coworking was kinda weird but that day pass trick actually makes a lot of sense. I was always too shy to ask but now I see why walking around and talking to them first saves you money.

Best trick I learned is to just walk in and ask if they do day passes first before committing to a month, most places will cut you a deal on the spot if they see you're actually shopping around.
