Why does nobody talk about how bad cafe wifi is for video calls?
I used to be a diehard cafe worker, always camped out with my laptop and a latte. But after three dropped Zoom meetings in one afternoon last month in Chiang Mai, I finally switched to coworking spaces. The wifi at most cafes just can't handle steady video upload speeds, especially during peak hours. Now I pay $8 a day for a spot with dedicated fiber and non-slip tables. It's way quieter too, no blenders going off mid-sentence. Has anyone else had to ditch cafes for video call reliability?

Honestly, I used to roll my eyes at people complaining about cafe wifi. I was all about that "third place" vibe and thought a strong espresso made up for any connection issues. But Ngl, one botched client call where I froze mid-sentence with a cappuccino frother going off in the background totally changed my mind. Now I'm with you - I can't deal with the dropped frames and noisy blenders anymore, it's not worth the stress.

Isn't it funny how one bad experience can completely flip how you see something? I swear, it's like everything nowadays has this hidden stress factor that only shows up when you're already in a pinch.
