Back when I was fixing up my bathroom, I had a caulk gun explode too. It wiped right off with a damp cloth, so why the big debate over mud or spackle?

Honestly, the mud vs spackle fight is the most heated debate in home repair. Watching this is like seeing two people argue over whether something is blue or green. Grab some popcorn because the texture experts are about to throw down. At this point, just smear some toothpaste on the wall and call it a day.
