Heard a guy at the hardware store rant about corded tools
I was in the aisle at Lowe's last Saturday looking for a new saw blade, and this older dude was telling the clerk how he still uses his 20 year old corded drill over any of the new battery stuff. Said he's got three kids too and he's tired of batteries dying mid-project, like when you're halfway through hanging shelves and the kids are screaming. It got me thinking about all the battery powered stuff I've bought over the last 5 years and how I'm constantly swapping chargers or hunting for that one battery that still holds a charge. Has anyone else gone back to plugging in for certain tools just to avoid the headache?

That "halfway through hanging shelves and the kids are screaming" part hit way too close to home lol. I'm with that old guy honestly, my corded drill never lets me down in the middle of a project.

Used to be team cordless. This changed my mind.
