That bathroom tile job I thought would take a weekend...

Spent 8 weekends straight redoing my tiny half bath. Tiling is a lot slower when you realize your walls aren't square.

Holy crap, 8 weekends for a half bath? That's brutal, man. I'd have lost my mind by week 3.

Wait, 8 weekends? Or did you mean 8 weekends total? Cause I'm reading it like it took you 2 months of weekends to finish, which yeah that's rough. I've been there with the un-square walls thing though - had to shim out one whole side of my shower niche just to keep the tile from looking crooked. It's amazing how much time that extra measuring and cutting adds up.

Come on @wadew51, 8 weekends is rookie numbers compared to some of the stories I've heard. Did you figure out the whole un-square walls thing before you started, or was that a nasty surprise halfway through? Because I swear, every time I think a wall is straight, my level proves me wrong. My uncle tried to cut corners on that and ended up with a gap you could fit a penny through.
