Wasted $80 on a cheap laminate floor cutter from Amazon

Bought a $80 laminate cutter off Amazon for a hallway install. It jammed on the third cut and the blade chipped on a click-lock plank. Anyone else had better luck with a specific brand or should I just rent the real tool?

Third cut and it chips? That's brutal, even the cheap ones usually last a little longer than that... @rubyk26 I've seen the Dewalt ones crap out too, so maybe it's just a bad design across the board. Renting the real tool is probably the smart move, at least you know it'll work for the whole job.

Man that sucks. I had a Dewalt that did the same thing on the second sheet of plywood. Felt like throwing it in the trash right there.
