Hit 500 hours in AutoCAD and it finally clicked for me
Tbh I never used to track my drafting time until last month when I started logging every project. I usually hate doing that stuff but my boss asked me to for billing reasons. When I hit 500 hours last Tuesday I was shocked. That number made me realize how much I had actually improved without noticing. My layers are way more organized and I stopped using the same template for everything. I started using dynamic blocks about 100 hours ago and that single change saved me probably 20 hours of repetitive work. Has anyone else found a specific moment or hour count where things just started making more sense for you?

How many hours in did you start using dynamic blocks?

lol "day one" like it was easy. betty i didn't touch them til like hour 200 and only because my drawing literally broke and i had to fix it fast. honestly i just avoided them for months thinking they were some kinda voodoo magic. turns out i was overthinking it. theyre not that bad once you mess up a few times and realize you can just undo it anyway.

Honestly I started using them day one and never looked back, they're not that hard.
