My plotter jammed mid-print on a 36x48 sheet for a client in Denver

It was a Friday afternoon rush job, and I had to manually feed the rest of the sheet through while the ink was still wet. Anyone have a better plotter brand that can handle thick vellum without choking?

Ugh, my old HP DesignJet never flinched at that stuff.

Man, that old tank of a printer could probably survive a direct hit. My current one throws a fit if I look at it wrong. Makes me miss the days when tech just worked without needing a pep talk first.

Totally get what you mean about tech needing a pep talk now. I used to think people were just being nostalgic, but my last printer died because the app wouldn't connect. It's wild how something as simple as paper jams feels like a crisis with new stuff. Those old machines just had a different kind of grit.
