Showerthought: I had to choose between a 0.3mm and a 0.5mm lead for a tight site plan last month.

Went with the 0.3mm for the fine detail, but man, did it feel like I was sharpening it every five minutes. Anyone else have a go-to lead weight for dense architectural drawings?

Remember using a 0.3mm for a whole set of construction details once. The lead sleeve snapped more than the lead itself, which was a new kind of frustration. Honestly started to miss the smudgy reliability of a fat 0.9mm for that kind of marathon.

Stick with the 0.5 every time. That 0.3 life is just constant pencil sharpening.

Ever try a 0.7 for the best of both?
