That one Tuesday where I had three redlines come back with zero changes

Happened about two weeks ago. I work at a small structural steel shop in Ohio and I had a weirdly perfect day where three separate sets of drawings I submitted came back approved without a single mark. First time that's ever happened to me (I've been drafting about 6 years now). Usually I get at least a few minor adjustments or dimension callouts changed. The architect on one of them actually called and said 'looks good, send it to fabrication' which caught me so off guard I asked him to repeat it. Has anyone else ever had a streak like that or is this just beginner's luck finally paying off?

Wait, did you double check those redlines didn't get generated from a blank template by mistake? I've seen that happen when someone's PDF export glitches and it looks like no changes but the real markups are sitting in a different file.

Oh dang, that's a good catch but I wonder if it's actually the opposite problem - sometimes when someone's working in a shared drive, the file sync glitches and you end up with an OLDER version of the doc overwriting the redlines. Had that happen to a buddy and he lost a whole afternoon of markups.

Nah, I see the blank template thing as way less common than just someone forgetting to save first.
