Three years ago I plotted every single wire and pipe in my CAD drawings by hand, now I use a plugin that automates half of it
Back in my old shop in Phoenix I used to trace every electrical line and plumbing run manually for these big commercial remodels. Now I'm using this Revit plugin called Ideate BIMLink that populates all that data from a spreadsheet in like 2 minutes. It's saved me about 10 hours a week but I still double check every connection because the first time I trusted it blindly I had a duct run overlapping a gas line on the print. Has anyone else ever had a plugin spit out something that looked right but was totally wrong?

Errors happen with or without plugins though lol. One time I drew a whole bathroom layout on the wrong floor because I was half asleep, that was a solid two hours of rework.
