Tried the new hatch pattern settings in AutoCAD instead of my old standby method

I've been using the same solid hatch with a color overlay for floor plans for about 5 years now, but last week I decided to test the new gradient hatch tool on a commercial reno project. It actually saved me about 20 minutes of messing with layer properties and looked cleaner when I plotted it out. Has anyone else switched to the newer hatch features and noticed a difference in plotting speed?

20 minutes is 20 minutes, I guess. But it's not like we're curing cancer here.

I saw someone on another forum say the gradient hatch tool cut their plotting errors by half, which got me curious too. I mean, 20 minutes saved on one reno project adds up pretty fast if you do that kind of work regularly. Idk if it's for every drawing type but it seems worth testing out on a smaller job first.

Yeah but half of zero is still zero, right? I've been using the same hatch tool for 15 years and the only errors I get are from me typing coordinates wrong, not the software messing up the fill.
