DAE spend 45 minutes looking for their phone while it was in their hand?
Last night I had this dream where I was rushing to leave my apartment for an appointment, but I couldn't find my phone anywhere. I tore through my couch cushions, checked under the bed, even dumped out my purse twice. The weird thing is, I was holding it the whole time but my brain just would not register that feeling in my hand. It took me a solid 45 minutes of dream time before I looked down and saw it right there. When I finally woke up, I was actually gripping my real phone so tight my fingers hurt. Has anyone else had that frustration where your dream self is just completely blind to the obvious?

Dude that dream stress is so real. My brain once made me search my whole house for keys I was clutching the whole time. Woke up sweating and my hand was cramping from gripping the keys in real life. It's wild how dreams mess with your sense of touch or sight like that.

I keep a spare set of keys in my car now because of this exact thing. 2019 was the worst year for it, I lost a whole Saturday morning to searching for keys that were in my jacket pocket the whole time. Woke up with my hand numb from gripping them in my sleep. What helped me was putting a small hook by the door and making it a rule to hang them up before I even take my shoes off. Took about three weeks but now my brain doesnt pull that trick as much.
