Dream logic at the dentist: when your teeth become puzzle pieces
I had this dream last month where I was at my old dentist's office in Springfield, but the waiting room was also my high school gym. The dentist told me I needed a filling, but instead of a drill, he handed me a small box of those plastic puzzle pieces from a kid's game. In the dream, it made perfect sense that I had to fit the right shaped piece into the cavity myself. I remember the exact feeling of pushing a star shaped piece into my molar and it clicking into place. The whole thing felt totally normal until I woke up and my jaw was sore from clenching. It's funny how your brain just accepts these wild rules as fact when you're asleep. Anyone else have a dream where you had to fix your own body with random objects?

Try a mouth guard, it fixed my clenching problem fast.

Remember that feeling of the star piece clicking in? That's so specific. Did the dream logic also give you a sense of whether you did a good job or not, like a grade from the dentist? My weird ones always have a weird consequence, like fixing something wrong and then my teeth turn into something else.
