Dream logic rule: if you open a fridge in a dream, you have exactly 3 seconds to grab what you need before the door grows teeth
I had this dream two nights ago where I was in my old college kitchen (go figure) and I needed some milk for cereal. The second I opened that fridge door, a voice in my head started counting down from 3. I panicked, grabbed a jar of pickles instead, and the fridge just snapped shut. Woke up so confused but now I lowkey check my fridge fast in real life. Does anyone else have weird timers or rules in their dreams that feel completely logical at the time?

Oh man, the countdown thing is so specific. I had a dream once where I was in a library and every book I touched would start screaming if I didn't put it back in exactly 5 seconds. I just stood there frozen for what felt like an hour, too scared to pick anything up. What worked for me was finally just grabbing the first book off the shelf and shoving it back fast, no thinking. The screaming stopped, and my brain acted like that was a huge life lesson. Dreams are weird.
