Dream me spent 3 hours trying to open a door that was just a drawing on the wall

In my dream last night, I was stuck in a hallway with a single door drawn in crayon. My dream brain decided the only way out was to 'open' it properly, which meant finding the exact right spot to push. I tried every inch of that wall for what felt like three hours. I even remember a dream voice saying, 'The latch is in the yellow part.' Has anyone else gotten stuck on a totally fake puzzle like that?

My cousin once spent a whole dream trying to turn a light switch that was just a sticker.

Dream logic is the worst kind of logic. The trick is to realize you're the one who made the rules, so you can just change them. Next time, try drawing your own door.

Wait, but if you know you made the rules, are you really dreaming? @hall.joel That feels more like lucid dreaming, which is a whole different skill. Most of the time, dream logic hits you and you just go with it, you don't feel in charge. The sticker light switch thing is the perfect example, you just accept the fake switch as real. Trying to draw a door means you already know it's a dream, which is pretty rare for me.

Yellow part makes me think your dream was colorblind.
