Wait, the bus driver actually accepted bread clips as real money? That's the part that gets me. My brain would never let me get away with that, I'd wake up from the sheer stress of trying to make it work. Dreams really do invent the most annoying rules and then force you to follow them perfectly.

That's exactly the thing though! Dreams make you just go along with the weirdest stuff without question. I had a dream once where I had to pay for a pizza with bottle caps, and I spent like an hour scrounging around for the right colors and sizes. The pizza guy was super serious about it too, checking each one like it was a real payment method. Your brain creates this whole stressful system with its own rules and you just have to follow them perfectly or everything falls apart. It's wild how calm we stay in the dream world about stuff that would be totally insane in real life.

Oh man, that's a good one. I once had to pay for a bus ticket with a handful of those little plastic bread bag clips.
