Honestly, my brain's bargain bin logic in dreams is a special kind of dumb. I once dreamed I urgently needed to buy a specific brand of orange juice, but the store only sold it in those huge gallon jugs. I bought it and then spent the rest of the dream stressed because I had no way to carry it home. Woke up feeling like I'd failed a very stupid test.
