Had a dream where my apartment complex had a 'no walking on Tuesdays' rule

I was just trying to get to my car, but the building manager kept pointing at a sign that said 'Tuesdays are for floating only'. So I had to hover awkwardly six inches off the ground the whole way. Anyone else have dreams with weirdly specific building rules?

Right, @ivanscott, like the rule is the whole point and our brains just skip the why. My dream building banned the color blue on odd-numbered floors, total nonsense.

Honestly, did the dream give any reason for the rule? Like was there some kind of floating Tuesday festival you were messing up? My brain makes up the weirdest stuff like that too, but it never explains itself.

I read a thing once that said dream logic skips the why because the part of your brain that checks for reasons is basically asleep. It just serves up random rules like a bad game show host. My own personal record was a dream where I couldn't step on sidewalk cracks because it would "offend the gravel." Makes perfect sense at three in the morning.
