Had a dream where my car keys were also my house keys, which made perfect sense.

I argued with dream-me that it was a security flaw, but he said it was efficient. What's a dream rule you fought against that your sleeping brain insisted was genius?

Last week I dreamed my social security number was also my wifi password. Dream-me thought it was the ultimate life hack, no more forgetting passwords. I spent the whole dream trying to explain public wifi at coffee shops.

Imagine the government IT guy's face when your whole neighborhood's internet goes down because you typed your SSN wrong once. Dream logic skips the part where that number is now on a sticky note under ten thousand routers. The real hack would be your brain making you REMEMBER a good password, not turning your most secret number into the default code for your Netflix.

Dream logic always tries to simplify things into one weird multi-tool... like a universal remote that also controls your neighbor's TV and your own garage door. It's the same urge that makes people use their pet's name for every password or try to fix a wobbly table with a stack of napkins. The sleeping brain just takes that lazy shortcut idea and runs with it, ignoring all the real world problems it would cause.
