Had to choose between flying or using the kitchen sink as a boat...
I picked the sink because the dream rule was 'flight requires a permission slip from your third grade teacher'. It floated perfectly down the hallway river. Anyone else have a weird bureaucratic rule stop them from doing something simple in a dream?

Honestly my dreams do that all the time. I once needed a library card just to remember my own phone number. The paperwork in dream logic is the worst.

Dreams are so weird. I once spent a whole dream trying to find a specific sock to unlock my front door.

People forget that dreams aren't just random brain noise. There's actual science showing they help us process memories and emotions from the day. That's why @kim.jake's dream about the sock at the front door might actually mean something specific, even if it seems silly on the surface. Brains are weird like that they use whatever random stuff is laying around to do important work.
