My friend Jake convinced me my dream about the talking mailbox was actually normal

We were having coffee at that diner on 5th Street last month, and I told him about this dream where my mailbox gave me tax advice. I thought it was just weird, but he said, 'In dreams, objects just know things, right? Like your car can be a boat if you need it to be.' That simple idea clicked for me. Has anyone else had a dream where a normal thing just had expert knowledge it shouldn't have?

You ever wake up from a dream that felt more real than your actual day? That's the thing, calling it "just a dream" misses the point. Dreams come from your own brain, so they're made of your real thoughts and worries. Dismissing them is like saying your own feelings don't matter. They might not be literal events, but the impact they have on you is completely genuine.
