Showerthought: In dreams, my car brakes never work right...
I keep having this dream where I'm driving down a hill in Portland and the brake pedal just goes to the floor every time. Has anyone else figured out what that dream logic is about?

Right? My dreams always have that moment where I'm pressing the brake and it's like stepping on a wet sponge. I always wake up right before I crash, so maybe my brain is too lazy to render the aftermath. At least my real life brakes are way more reliable than my dream car, which I'm pretty sure runs on anxiety and bad decisions.

The wet sponge brake thing is the WORST. I hate how you press down harder and it just gets softer, like your brain is actively working against you. At least you wake up before the crash though, I have this recurring one where I hit a deer and I have to watch the whole thing go down. My dream car definitely runs on bad decisions too, seems like the gas gauge is always on E no matter what.
