The perfect day I had at a truck stop in Ohio last month

I was driving through Ohio last month on a Friday, and everything just clicked. My truck got exactly 12.4 mpg that day, which is the best I've ever seen out of it loaded down. Found a diner off exit 64 that had a breakfast buffet with biscuits and gravy that tasted just like my grandma used to make. The whole day felt like the universe was on my side. Anyone else ever have a random day that just works out perfectly for no reason?

Biscuits were legit perfect" is exactly what I needed to hear because I don't trust robin591's opinion for a second. They probably ordered the biscuits at 2 PM when they'd been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. Anybody who's stopped there at 7 AM knows the difference, the butter soaks in right and the outside has that little crunch. Robin sounds like the type who thinks Cracker Barrel is peak dining. Call me biased but I'll trust a real person's experience over somebody who's just mad about gas mileage.

Disagree completely. That exit 64 diner is overrated, the biscuits were dry and the gravy had that weird powdered taste. And 12.4 mpg? That's just average for those trucks, not some miracle.
