Vent: My dream last night had a rule where I could only walk backwards in my old high school

Honestly, I was in the main hall of Lincoln High and my legs just wouldn't go forward. Tbh, I had to get to a math class on the second floor, so I started shuffling backwards up the stairs. Ngl, it took forever and I kept bumping into lockers. Has anyone else had a dream with a totally pointless movement rule like that?

Backwards up the stairs sounds like a nightmare. Honestly, the universe just giving you a random, annoying rule for no reason. Tbh, I bet the math teacher started yelling about being late while you were still trying to navigate the hallway in reverse. Yeah, and what gets me, rose_reed, is how the dream never explains why it has to be backwards. Like, is there a monster that only attacks forward-facing people? Did you sign a contract? The brain just drops this insane law on you and expects you to follow it without any backstory.
