Why did my dream self decide phones need to be charged in the fridge?
I used to have dreams where my phone battery was always at 1% and I couldn't find a charger anywhere. Then last year, after I actually dropped my old Samsung in a bowl of soup, my dream logic decided the perfect solution is to plug my phone into the vegetable crisper drawer. Now every other night I'm shoving my phone between a bag of carrots and some old lettuce like it's totally normal. Has anyone else woken up confused about their dream charging habits?

Wait, people actually analyze their dreams like this? I just wake up and move on with my day (usually to check my actual phone battery, not the fridge one). Maybe it's time to step back and ask if this is really worth getting worked up over. Could just be your brain mixing up "cold storage" with "charging station" because both are things you plug in and forget about. Seriously, I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

Had a dream once where I was arguing with a vending machine about why it gave me the wrong brand of peanuts. Woke up genuinely annoyed and almost called the company the next day. Then I realized I was mad at a vending machine that doesn't exist and went back to bed. Point is, dreams are dumb and our brains just throw random junk together like a bad salad. Your theory about cold storage and charging stations makes more sense than any dream analysis I've ever heard. I wouldn't waste another second on it either.

Used to be one of those people who shrugged off dream logic as random noise. But you have a solid point about the brain mixing up "plugging in" with "cold storage" since both involve leaving something to sit undisturbed. My own dreams have me charging a phone in a microwave and trying to toast bread in a computer case, so clearly my brain is borrowing random appliance concepts. Your fridge theory actually makes more sense than any internet article I've read about dream symbols. Maybe our brains just see a box with a power cord and think "yep, that's where the phone goes.
