Found my old sketchbook from high school in a box yesterday

I used to draw every day and wanted to be an animator. I even saved up $500 from a summer job for a drawing tablet I never bought. Life just got busy with other stuff after graduation. Does anyone else have an old hobby they just stopped doing one day?

Life just got busy" sounds like an excuse. You make time for what matters to you. You stopped because you chose other things.

And yeah @jennifer833, I get what you're saying but it's not always that simple. Sometimes life gets busy and a hobby just quietly falls off without you really deciding to quit it.

Oh man, I just read something the other day about how our brains actually crave that creative outlet even years later. I'm kinda itching to dig through my garage now and find my old guitar.
