That old dance studio on Elm Street still has the sign up 15 years later
I drove past the old ballet studio downtown last Tuesday and the sign still says "Classical Dance Academy" with the same peeling paint. It shut down in 2010 when the owner retired, but nobody ever bothered to take the sign down. I used to take classes there every Saturday for 3 years, and I had this big dream of teaching kids ballet when I got older. Now I work in an insurance office and I can't even remember the last time I did a plié. Does anyone else drive past a place from your past and feel that weird sting of what could have been?

Just go take a class at a community center or something. You don't have to teach it to enjoy it again, just do it for yourself.

Oh wow, that's actually a really good point @jenny47. Do you think taking a class as a student again might make someone feel less pressure than always being the one in charge?

Yeah I joined a pottery class last year. Way less pressure.
