From my last river job, I think we over-survey before dredging
Most guys want full bottom scans every time, but I say for repeat spots, eyeballing it works. Saved a full day last week by just going off old maps. Who sides with me on this?

My old boss on the Columbia River swore by a five year rule for full scans unless the channel shifted.

Saved a day" is the only survey you need.

Actually, every client I meet has different priorities.

Last client in Seattle cared only about cost. Surveys should adapt to what matters most to them.
