Rant: I used to cut around every single outlet box with a jab saw, but after a job in Tampa where I had to do 47 of them, I bought a rotary tool.
Now I zip around them in seconds, and my only real question is, what's the best bit you guys have found for that, because mine keeps gumming up with joint compound dust?

Switched to a carbide rasp bit and it stays cleaner.

Dude I totally get that feeling of wondering why you waited so long. I had a similar moment when I finally tried those carbide rasps on some hard maple and it cut like butter compared to the regular ones. The cleanup alone is such a game changer.

Always thought those bits were overkill but you just proved me wrong.
