Spent $80 on a stillevator for my last job and honestly it was a game changer
I was doing a big ceiling job in an old church downtown and got tired of climbing up and down my stilts every 5 minutes to grab another board. Bought one of those lift platforms that hooks onto your stilts for like 80 bucks and it saved me so much back and forth on that one day. Has anyone else tried one of those or do you just stick with the old way?

Wait, you mean you actually spent $80 on a stillevator? I've been doing drywall for like 12 years and I've never even seen one in person, that's wild. I always just figured they were some gimmick that nobody actually buys. I can't believe a little gadget like that costs 80 bucks though, that seems steep for what it is. Honestly I just deal with climbing up and down my stilts all day, my legs are used to it by now. But if it actually saved you that much time on a big church ceiling, maybe I'm missing out.

...oh man, I felt like a total clown the first time I strapped that thing on and tried to walk across the room. I tripped over my own feet like three times before I even got to the first sheet of drywall. Definitely looked like a baby deer learning to stand for a good five minutes before it actually started helping.
