That Tuesday last March when nothing went right and I almost quit

Show up to a 3,000 square foot new build and the blue tape crew had left marks all over the wrong walls, plus the hoist seized up halfway through hanging the ceiling in the living room. Took me 14 hours just to get the board on the lid, has anyone else had a day where every single thing fought back?

Man, that is brutal. Next time, check the tape before you start.

Okay but like, is this really that deep? People mess up measurements all the time, it happens. You slap the tape on, you cut, you realize it's a half inch off, whatever. It's drywall not brain surgery. I've seen guys frame entire walls with a chipped speed square and nobody died. Maybe the dude was just in a hurry or his pencil was dull. Feels like we're making a bigger deal out of this than it needs to be.
