Unpopular opinion: I think the 6-inch taping knife is underrated after a job in a tight Phoenix bathroom.

I had to finish a small ceiling cove in a remodel last month and the 6-inch blade let me get a clean angle where my 12-inch just wouldn't fit, so what's your go-to tool for tight spots?

That Phoenix heat makes any tight space a real chore. My 10-inch knife is my usual workhorse, but I keep a 6-inch in the truck for exactly those weird corners.

Switched to a shorter blade for those cramped spots too. Makes all the difference when you're trying to get into a tight corner.

Good call on the shorter blade, @emmahayes. I've even used a cheap putty knife for some of those really tight jobs... just to get the angle right before the real cut.
