Warning: cleaning your mud pan with a wire brush ruins your taping knives
I wrecked two good knives in a row before I figured out it was the metal shavings from the brush getting embedded in the edge. Last week I switched to a plastic scraper and a wet rag, and my knives stayed sharp for a full 500 square foot room. Anybody else had this happen or am I the only dummy doing it wrong?
