Overheard a delivery driver say the warehouse guys hide the good snacks in the freezer aisle

I was stocking shelves at a grocery store for 4 years and never thought to check the freezer aisle for the hidden stash. Apparently they keep the beef jerky and fancy granola bars behind the frozen pizzas. I walked right by that spot every shift for 3 years. Did any of you guys have a secret spot like that at your store?

That secret handshake for snacks is real, I think it's more about just being chill and not asking too many questions.

Oh man, that is wild! I worked at a big box store for a year and the warehouse guys had a spot in the back behind the pallet of cat litter. They kept the good peanut butter and the expensive instant coffee in a milk crate there. So here is my pointed question - how do you find out about these spots without getting caught? Like, do you just have to be friends with the right person or do you accidentally stumble on it? I feel like I missed so much not knowing the secret handshake for the good snacks. Seriously, I bet that freezer aisle stash had some amazing stuff that never made it to the shelves. What was the best thing you ever saw them pull out of there?

My friend Maria worked at a Target for like 2 years and she only found out about the stash because she had to go grab a ladder from the back and saw a dude pull out a whole rotisserie chicken from a box labeled "light bulbs." She said the best thing she ever pulled out of there was a full cheesecake from the bakery that was supposed to get tossed but was still good. I guess you just gotta be in the right place at the right time or know someone who already knows the deal.
