Failed USB-C ports are becoming a frequent fix in my shop

I've noticed a lot of phones and laptops coming in with broken USB-C ports lately (it's kind of frustrating, honestly). It seems like the ports wear out faster than the old micro-USB ones, probably from all the plugging and unplugging.

Yeah, it's not just you. My tablet's port got so loose it would only charge at a certain angle. Feels like the little tongue inside gets worn down or bent so easily. I'm almost nervous to plug anything in anymore. Makes you miss the sturdier feeling of the old ports, even if they were slower.

These USB-C ports seem to have a built-in expiration date or something. After dylan_sanchez's angle-charging and @murphy.aaron's total failure, it's kinda ridiculous. Maybe the plan is to make us all buy wireless chargers, idk.

Saw my USB-C port give up on me last night.

Wait, it just stopped working completely? That's crazy, mine's been loose for months but still charges. Did it just not recognize anything at all?
