Just spent 4 hours on a vintage receiver that had a single cold solder joint on the power board.

Ugh that's the worst! I read a whole article about how those old solder joints get brittle over time. The heat from the power board makes the metal expand and contract for years until it finally cracks. Honestly it's kinda amazing when the whole problem is just one tiny spot you can fix in two minutes after hunting for hours.

My old Xbox 360 red ringed from that exact thing, just like jason_lewis3 said, hours of work for a tiny fix.
