I spent $400 on a 'productivity' course that just repackaged free YouTube advice.
The whole thing was basically a 6-week email drip that just told me to use a calendar and turn off notifications, which I found out after paying when a friend sent me a free video covering the exact same steps.

Did they at least give you a fancy certificate to frame? I swear, some of these courses are just taking common sense and putting a price tag on it. It's frustrating when you realize the secret formula was something you could have found with a basic search. That's a lot of money for an email reminder to check your calendar.

It's like paying for bottled water when the tap works fine. They just repackage basic ideas and call it a secret system. Makes you wonder who's really getting the value.

Does the certificate come with a free frame or do they charge extra for that too?

It's just another example of how everything gets turned into a commodity these days... even basic common sense. People slap a fancy name on something simple, add a little structure, and suddenly it's a premium product. I see it with meal prep plans, parenting advice, even relationship guides - stuff our grandparents just figured out on their own. You're paying for the packaging, not the content.
