PSA: My street's front yard veggies showed me we were missing talk...
I used to think everyone on my street kept to themselves... but this spring, half the lawns became little farms. Now we're always outside chatting about tomatoes or how to keep bugs away... It hit me that we'd been lonely for years without even knowing. This small shift made the whole place feel like a group again. Anyone noticing similar changes where you are?

My buddy's block started sharing herbs and now they actually know each other's names.

So we've hit the point where a sprig of rosemary is worth more than a hello... classic. Next thing you know, they'll be having block parties over tomato plants. It's kinda sad that it takes sharing greens to learn your neighbor's name... but hey, whatever works. I guess we're all just one herb garden away from actually talking to each other.

That "one herb garden away" idea used to seem silly to me. But after swapping some basil, I totally get it now!
