Had a day last week where three clients all asked for the same obscure lip tint shade
I must have mixed that custom peachy nude six times in one shift and it was so consistent that my coworker joked I should bottle it and sell it, has anyone else ever had a random product just blow up like that out of nowhere?

Heard this beauty blogger on a podcast talk about how some products just hit that perfect moment when everything aligns. She mentioned a certain coral lip stain that suddenly got popular after one influencer used it in a "my lips but better" video. That peachy nude sounds like it's in that same sweet spot where it works on like every skin tone. Makes me wonder if you should actually bottle it, maybe put it in a little pot and sell it to your clients?

Is anyone else tired of seeing the same products blow up overnight just because one person used them? @nancyj11 you're spot on about that peachy nude shade, it really does seem to work on everyone. I've seen that kind of thing happen before with a simple lip balm that got popular after a makeup artist used it in a "no makeup" tutorial. It's wild how a little thing can become a big deal when the timing is right. Hope you find that perfect shade for yourself.

Funny thing about that lip balm example. I remember when it happened and noticed how the packaging was actually really weird. Nobody talked about that part. But the timing was perfect because everyone was into that whole "effortless" look right then. The shade itself wasn't even that special, it was just the first one to hit at that exact moment. Kinda makes you wonder how many products fail just because they launched a week too early or too late.
