My clinic stopped offering dermaplaning after three clients had bad reactions
I think dermaplaning is pushed too hard for quick results. Seeing those reactions made me question its safety for sensitive skin types. Now I advise against it unless the client has robust skin.

Bad reactions can happen with any skin treatment though, not just this one. Most people just get some redness that goes away fast. It seems like your clinic might be overreacting a bit lol.

Agree with you, clinics can be too careful sometimes. I had a similar thing happen at my place last year. Just got a bit red after a facial, but they acted like it was a big emergency. It went away in like an hour, no big deal. So yeah, they might overreact to cover themselves. Have you had other treatments where this happened?

Used to think clinics were too careful until mine showed me photos of real reactions. Seeing actual blistering cases scared me straight tbh. Made me realize they're not overreacting, just trying to prevent serious damage.
