Okay, I'm going against the grain on those at-home LED masks

Took me 3 months of trial and error to get a client's skin barrier back after she fried it with one, way longer than fixing a standard chemical burn. Anyone else seeing this damage more often?

My neighbor wrecked her skin with one too, took forever to heal.

Ugh that "took forever to heal" line from nguyen.lily is so real. It's scary how fast damage happens versus how slow fixing it is. I got over excited with a scrub last year and my skin was angry for months, just red and tight. It really does make you appreciate the boring gentle cleanser and moisturizer life. Hope your neighbor's doing better now, that's such a frustrating spot to be in.

The 10-minute rule with those masks is non-negotiable, seriously.

Yeah, the "took forever to heal" part is the real key. It feels like we're in a phase where every new gadget promises a quick fix, but the damage takes way longer to undo than the time you "saved." I see it with everything from these masks to those super strong at home peels. People skip the boring basics for a flashy tool, then spend months fixing the fallout. It's a whole cycle now.
